Work

Three languages – painting, drawing and writing. Each begins with a line. Structure. Boundary. A line drawn across a surface. But structure is never still. Colour bleeds. Charcoal dissolves. Language bends and returns. I am drawn to the tension between geometry and feeling. The way a straight line attempts to hold a life that refuses to behave like one. Parallel lines suggest separation. Circles suggest return. Ripples suggest consequence. The unbroken line suggests continuation. The work moves within these forms, tracing what fractures and what endures.
